Learning & Development

AS Watson Group Retail Academy officially launched in March 2018.  It is the first local Retail Academy in the industry, driving the development of the new retail era. AS Watson Group becomes the first company in the retail sector offering its staff professional and comprehensive courses recognised by the QF. Since 2013, the Group has launched 17 QF accredited programmes (Level 2 to Level 5) and has trained  4,500+ staff across PARKnSHOP, Watsons, FORTRESS and Watson's Wine.  

In a recent accreditation exercise, the Retail Academy revamped three of the existing programmes to become the first QF accredited On-line Programme (OLP) in HK as a response to the learning and development needs of its staff driven by the use of technology. The OLPs feature a majority of self-directed learning and assessment activities delivered through an in-house digital learning platform.

Store Trainee Manager Program

A 12-month training program includes classroom training, project management and on-job attachment within sales operations to obtain a wide spectrum of real life retail sales operations and managerial experience.
